About Tikun

Tikun – the educational branch of Better World Charity – aims to do just that, make this world a better place for everyone.

Rabbi Shaul Rosenblatt

Shaul grew up in Liverpool and still supports the best team in football. Shaul founded Aish UK in 1993 and Tikun in 2006. He is known for his dry wit and engaging talks. He enjoys most things in life, believes in a world of wisdom, spiritual growth, love of humanity and a commitment to building a better world. Being a Rabbi with plentiful experience as a spiritual mentor and counsellor of mental and emotional wellbeing, Shaul’s understanding of the human experience – coupled with his unique sense of humour – makes for a hub of wisdom and insight. Shaul and his lovely wife Chana reside with their 8 beautiful children in London, UK.

Tikun – the educational branch of Better World Charity – aims to do just that, make this world a better place for everyone.

Our goal is to guide people towards being a shining moral example by teaching them principles of wellbeing, Torah wisdom and their responsibility to improve the world.

Tikun concentrates on three areas. The first is wellbeing with Innate Health which “introduce people to their soul”. The second is adult Jewish education, teaching Torah to show how to become a better person, not as ritual, not just how to, but what’s behind it, how the Torah is meant to bring you closer to God. The third area is Tikun Olam, repairing the world, hosting many volunteering programmes within and outside the Jewish community.

Better Call Shaul. A philosophical exploration of trends and current events. Shaul and Levi take on topics that need more discussion from a human, moral and balanced perspective. Topics within spirituality, mental health and the law, life and culture of Judaism.

Our vision: To create a space of honest and open discussion in Judaism, spirituality, and wellbeing. Agendaless, informal conversations – no holds barred. We keep it fresh, every time a new topic and often with great guests.

The Davar

The Davar is a daily (short snippet) or weekly (longer shpiel) dose of meaningful Jewish thought. An insightful way to start your day or end off your week. Sign up below and treat your soul.

Our Other Organisations

Better World

Simply put, we are a registered charity that does exactly what it says on the tin, we work towards a better world for everyone.
Our organisation has distinct parts in the areas of education and well-being, each working within its own restricted budget and funds.

The Rabbinic Training Academy

We provide mentorship through the first eighteen months of rabbinical career. We offer a high quality learning programme to segue between the structure of a Kollel and independent learning. We focus on, and develop, the wellbeing and resilience of our participants.

The purpose of the Conference is to unlock our ability to discover an improved experience of life through an understanding known as the Three Principles. This is the primary event for anyone looking for a better personal understanding of the Principles and their implications.

Light Up A Life

Currently in its 12th year, Light Up A Life is a volunteering project aiming to unite people of all faiths (and none) in a massive volunteering and giving drive over the winter holidays, in partnership with many other charities, organisations and communities.
